The Sargent 70-776-8-ETP-24V is a Grade 1 electrified exit device trim engineered for secure, access-controlled openings using Sargent 80 Series exit devices. Operating on 24V DC in a fail secure configuration, this trim keeps the outside lever locked until power is applied, allowing controlled entry through card readers, keypads, or other access control systems. It features the ET control with the P lever design and comes prepped for a small format interchangeable core (SFIC), shipped less core so you can match your existing keying system. A key retracts the latch for mechanical override, giving you dependable access alongside electronic control.

Functional Details

In fail secure operation, the outside trim remains locked during a power loss and unlocks only when voltage is applied, maintaining building security during outages. When energized, the lever operates to retract the latch and allow entry; keyed cylinder access provides a manual override at any time.
