The Sargent 8715F-84 is a Grade 1 surface vertical rod exit device built for demanding commercial openings. Configured as exit only with no outside trim, it fits a 36" door width and accommodates door heights up to 84". The surface-mounted vertical rods latch at both the top and bottom of the door, delivering reliable two-point security without the need to mortise rods into the door edge. Hex key dogging allows the latches to be held retracted for push/pull operation during high-traffic periods, and the device is well suited for aluminum, hollow metal, and wood door applications where durability and dependable egress are essential.

Functional Details
