Functional Details

In the night latch (J) function, the outside lever is always rigid and the latch is retracted only by key. Pushing the touchpad from the inside always allows free egress, meeting life-safety code requirements.

Arm Type Details

This is a rim-mounted exit device. The push rail travels horizontally across the door face, retracting the surface-mounted rim latch when depressed. It engages a strike mounted on the door frame stop for straightforward single-door installation.
