The Sargent 8813-F-ETP is a Grade 1 rim exit device built for demanding commercial applications where security and reliable egress are essential. Designed for doors measuring 33 to 36 inches wide, it features classroom function with the ET trim and P lever design, allowing controlled access from the outside while maintaining free egress at all times. The fire-rated (F) construction makes it suitable for rated openings, and hex key dogging lets staff hold the latch retracted for push/pull operation during peak traffic. Supplied less cylinder, this device gives installers the flexibility to specify their preferred mortise cylinder for the exterior trim.

Functional Details

The classroom function allows the outside lever to be locked or unlocked by key, while the inside push bar always provides free egress. Depressing the push rail retracts the latch for immediate exit, and when dogged, the device stays retracted to permit free passage from both sides.

Arm Type Details

The ETP trim combines the ET escutcheon control with the P lever, offering a return-style lever that meets accessibility requirements and provides smooth, dependable operation on the pull side of the door.
