Functional Details

The classroom function allows the outside lever to be locked or unlocked with a key. When locked, entry requires a key, but the inside pushbar always permits free egress for life-safety compliance.

• Classroom Function (J): Latchbolt retracted by lever from outside unless outside lever is locked by key. When outside lever is locked, latchbolt retracted by key from outside. Latchbolt retracted by exit device inside at all times.

Arm Type Details

The ET trim uses the B lever design, providing a comfortable grip and smooth operation for key-controlled access from the exterior side of the opening.
