The Sargent LC-12-56-8804-F-ETP is a heavy-duty electrified rim exit device built for fire-rated openings on doors measuring 33 to 36 inches wide. Engineered with electric latch retraction (ELR), it allows the latch to be withdrawn electrically for controlled access and remote operation, making it ideal for access control integration. Configured for night latch (NL) function with the ETP trim, the exterior lever retracts the latch only when a key is used. Supplied less cylinder for use with your preferred cylinder, this Grade 1 device carries UL fire listing and requires no mechanical dogging, keeping the latch secure on fire-rated applications.

Functional Details

This device uses electric latch retraction to pull the latch bolt back electrically, holding it retracted so the door can be pushed or pulled freely until power is removed. The night latch trim allows the outside lever to retract the latch only when the cylinder is operated by key, while free egress is always available from the inside.
