Functional Details

The 56-8876 ETL function uses an internal motor to electrically retract the latch, allowing free entry when energized while maintaining code-compliant free egress at all times. In the fail-secure mode, a loss of power leaves the exterior lever locked; a key retracts the latch for mechanical override.
