Functional Details

The 56-prefix electric latch retraction function uses a solenoid to pull the latch bolt back electrically, allowing the door to be pushed or pulled open without mechanical operation of the pushpad. When power is removed, the device reverts to fail secure, locking the outside trim while free egress from the inside is always maintained.
