Functional Details

The storeroom function (12) keeps the exterior trim continuously locked. A key is required to retract the latch from the outside, while the interior push bar always permits free egress for life-safety compliance.

• Outside trim is always locked.
• Latch retracted by key from outside.
• Key cannot be removed unless latch is in projected (locked) position.
• Inside lever or push pad always active for immediate egress.

Arm Type Details

This is a surface-mounted vertical rod device. Latching occurs at the top and bottom of the door through vertical rods, providing two-point latching for added security and proper door alignment on fire rated openings.

Included Components

The device ships with the ETB lever trim in the J design, surface vertical rods, and top and bottom latch mechanisms. A mortise cylinder is not included and must be ordered separately.
