Functional Details

The storeroom function (8706) means the lever trim is always rigid and locked from the outside. Entry requires a key to momentarily retract the latch, but the door relocks immediately once released. The inside push bar always allows free egress, satisfying code requirements for fire rated exits.

Arm Type Details

This model uses a surface-mounted vertical rod configuration. The top and bottom latch rods run along the face of the door, engaging strikes at the header and threshold to provide two-point latching that holds fire rated doors securely in their frames during an emergency.
