The Sargent LC-12-8876-J-ETJ-12V is an electrified fire rated rim exit device engineered for secure, code-compliant openings on doors measuring 37 to 42 inches wide. Built around Sargent's rugged 80 Series platform, it combines a fire rated rim mechanism with a 12V fail secure electric latch retraction function and the J lever design on the ETJ exit trim. In the fail secure configuration, the outside lever remains locked when power is removed, while the key retracts the latch for authorized entry. Shipped less cylinder and less dogging, this device gives security professionals the flexibility to specify a preferred mortise cylinder for new installations and demanding access control applications.

Functional Details
