Functional Details

The 56- electric latch retraction function uses an internal motor to retract the latch bolt electronically, permitting push/pull operation or hands-free entry when energized. In the fail-safe (F) configuration, the outside trim unlocks when power is removed, ensuring access during power failures while maintaining free egress at all times.
