Functional Details

The electric latch retraction function uses a built-in motor to withdraw the latch bolt, allowing the door to be pushed or pulled freely without actuating the push rail. When paired with an access control system, this enables controlled entry and supports momentary or continuous dogging electrically. In the fail safe mode, loss of power retracts or releases the latch to permit free egress and entry.
