Functional Details

This device uses electric latch retraction to pull the latch bolt back electrically, enabling remote access through building automation or access control. In the fail secure configuration, loss of power leaves the lever locked, requiring a key to gain entry, while free egress is always maintained from the inside.

Arm Type Details

The ETJ trim is a night latch function key trim. Turning the key retracts the latch and allows the door to be opened from the exterior, while the trim otherwise remains rigid and secure.
