The Sargent LC-56-8876-G-ETB-12V is a heavy-duty electrified rim exit device engineered for commercial openings that require reliable access control and dependable egress. Built around the proven 80 Series platform, this device features electric latch retraction (ELR) powered at 12V, allowing the latch to be retracted remotely for momentary or sustained access control integration. Configured as fail secure, the outside ETB lever is locked when power is removed, while free egress is always maintained from the inside. Designed for 43" to 48" door widths and supplied less cylinder, it offers flexibility for the ET trim and includes hex key dogging for mechanical hold-open when needed.

Functional Details

Electric latch retraction allows the exit device latch to be electrically withdrawn, enabling remote unlocking for access control systems, automatic operators, or scheduled free access. In the fail secure configuration, loss of power leaves the outside lever locked while the device retains full code-compliant egress from the secure side at all times.

Arm Type Details

The ETB trim is a lever-style outside trim designed for pull-side operation. When the device is energized and the latch retracted, the lever allows entry; in the fail secure state the lever is rigid and access is denied until the cylinder is used or power is restored.

Device ships with the 8876 rim exit chassis, ETB lever trim, 12V electric latch retraction module, and mounting hardware. Mortise cylinder is not included and must be ordered separately.
