Functional Details
As a storeroom (F-function) delayed egress device, the outside trim remains continuously locked and requires a key or valid credential for entry, while the inside push rail controls exiting. The delayed egress feature introduces a timed delay before the door releases, giving staff time to respond while remaining compliant with life safety codes.
- Storeroom function: latchbolt retracted by key from outside; outside lever is always fixed (rigid).
- Delayed egress initiates an audible alarm and timed delay sequence when the push rail is activated.
