Functional Details

The storeroom function means the latchbolt is locked by the outside trim at all times. A key is required to retract the latchbolt and gain entry, but the latch relocks automatically once released. The inside push rail always allows immediate, free egress regardless of the lock status.

Arm Type Details

This device uses surface-mounted vertical rods connected to top and bottom latch points. In the less bottom rod configuration, only the top rod and latch engage the frame, reducing the number of floor-level components that can collect dirt or sustain damage.
