Functional Details

The ND80PD-EL fail safe electrified storeroom lock keeps the outside lever rigid and the latchbolt extended during normal operation, then changes state with power to allow or restrict outside lever operation based on the electrified function. In a fail safe configuration, loss of power leaves the outside lever unlocked, making it suitable for openings where free access is required during a power interruption.
