The Schlage ND91JD-TLR is a Grade 1 heavy-duty cylindrical lock built for the demands of commercial entry and office openings. Configured for the Entrance/Office function with Vandlgard technology, it protects the lock mechanism against forced turning of the outside lever, reducing the risk of internal damage. This lockset is prepped for a Schlage Full Size Interchangeable Core (FSIC) and ships less core, giving facilities the flexibility to key it into an existing system. The TLR tubular lever offers a clean, ADA-friendly profile, and its non-handed design simplifies installation on doors of any swing.

Functional Details

The Entrance/Office function (ND91) allows the outside lever to be locked or unlocked from the inside, controlling access without a key from within. When Vandlgard is engaged, forcing the outside lever simply clutches free rather than transmitting stress to the internal components.

• Latchbolt operated by lever from either side except when outside lever is locked by push button.
• Push button locking; turning inside lever or closing door releases button unless in shut-out mode.
• Rotating and holding inside push button provides shut-out; key or thumbturn cannot release.
