Blast Resistant Steel Doors

Blast resistant doors and frames have several options including glazed doors, borrowed lites, transoms, and pairs with increased requirements to meet UL Government, Military, and Embassy safety and security objectives, and can meet the Federal Government’s domestic sourcing regulations including Buy America, Buy American Act, Trade Agreement Act, and American Iron and Steel Requirements.

Blast Resistant Openings must be installed as a complete approved assembly, which includes all necessary hardware. Multiple hardware configurations are available based on design requirements related to blast pressure and other variables. ASSA ABLOY Blast Resistant Openings are available with 3-point latch, concealed vertical rod, surface vertical rod and RIM exit devices, as well as mortise locks and flush bolts, among others.
