Functional Details

The 704 key-retracts-latch function uses a keyed cylinder to retract the latch bolt, granting entry from the outside while the exit device continues to provide free egress from the inside. When the key is not used, the opening remains locked and secure.

Arm Type Details

This trim uses the ET (ergonomic) control design, which positions the P lever for comfortable, intuitive operation. The lever connects to the exit device chassis to control latch retraction without compromising the panic function of the device.
