The Sargent 70-704-ETME is a Grade 1 exit device trim designed to pair with Sargent 80 Series exit devices for secure, high-traffic commercial openings. Featuring the ET escutcheon control with the ME lever design, this trim provides a key-retracts-latch function, allowing authorized users to withdraw the latch and gain entry from the outside. It accepts a small format interchangeable core (SFIC) and ships less core, giving facilities the flexibility to key the trim to their existing master key system. Functional Details

This trim operates on a key-retracts-latch basis: turning the key in the cylinder withdraws the latch so the door can be pulled open from the outside, while the exit device continues to provide free egress from the inside at all times.
