The Sargent 70-713-8-ETL is a Grade 1 exit device trim engineered for use with Sargent 80 Series exit devices. Featuring the 713 function, this lever trim allows a key to lock or unlock the lever from the outside, giving facility managers flexible control over secured openings. It comes with the ET control housing and the L lever design, paired with a small format interchangeable core (SFIC) prep. Shipped less core, it accepts a standard SFIC cylinder sold separately, making it ideal for schools, hospitals, and commercial buildings that rely on keyed access control for high-traffic doors.

Functional Details

The 713 function uses a key cylinder in the trim to lock and unlock the outside lever. When unlocked, the lever retracts the latch for normal passage; when locked, the lever is rigid and access requires a key while free egress remains available from the inside.

Arm Type Details
