Functional Details

The 713 (Key Locks/Unlocks) function uses the cylinder to either secure or release the outside lever. When locked, the lever is fixed and entry requires a key; when unlocked, the lever retracts the latch for normal passage. Free egress from the inside is always maintained through the exit device.
