Functional Details

This fail secure electrified trim keeps the outside lever rigid and locked during normal unpowered conditions. When 12V power is applied through the access control system, the lever is momentarily unlocked to permit authorized entry from the outside while free egress is maintained from the inside through the exit device.

• Fail secure outside trim is rigid at all times. A momentary application of electricity unlocks the lever, permitting entry.
• Used with 80 Series mortise lock and rim exit devices.
• For use with all 80 Series devices except 8888 and 8500F.
