The Sargent LC-12-8975-F-ETL-24V is a Grade 1 fire rated mortise exit device built for high-traffic openings that require reliable electrified access control. Designed for 33" to 36" wide doors, it pairs the proven 8900 Series mortise lock body with ETL electrified trim operating at 24V in a fail safe configuration. The ET trim features the L lever design, delivering a clean ANSI-style profile and dependable performance. Shipped less cylinder and less dogging, this device gives installers flexibility to specify their own mortise cylinder. Fire rated construction makes it suitable for labeled door assemblies where life safety and controlled egress are essential.

Functional Details

This 24V DC electrified ET trim operates in fail safe mode. With power removed, the outside lever is unlocked. Applying power locks the outside lever. When unlocked, turning the outside lever retracts the mortise latch. Operating the inside push rail permits egress regardless of the electrical state of the trim. A compatible mortise cylinder, ordered separately, provides mechanical key override.

Trim and Lever Details

The ET trim has an L lever. Electrical power controls whether the outside lever is locked or unlocked; operating an unlocked lever retracts the latch. Select the LHR or RHR handing to suit the opening.
