Functional Details

This 24V DC electrified ET trim operates in fail safe mode. With power removed, the outside lever is unlocked. Applying power locks the outside lever. When unlocked, turning the outside lever retracts the mortise latch. Operating the inside push rail permits egress regardless of the electrical state of the trim. A compatible mortise cylinder, ordered separately, provides mechanical key override.

Trim and Lever Details

The ET trim has a P lever. Electrical power controls whether the outside lever is locked or unlocked; operating an unlocked lever retracts the latch. Select the LHR or RHR handing to suit the opening.

The exit device ships with the 8975 mortise exit chassis, ET electrified trim with P lever, and standard mounting hardware. It is supplied less cylinder and less dogging, so a mortise cylinder must be ordered separately to complete keying.
