The Sargent LC-12-8975-G-ETP-24V is a Grade 1 fire rated mortise exit device built for high-traffic openings up to 48" wide. Engineered with a 24V electrified ET trim in a fail safe configuration, it releases the outside lever during a power loss to support emergency egress and access control integration. The device pairs the durable 8900 series mortise lock case with the G (ETP) trim featuring the P lever design, and ships less cylinder for cylinder customization. Its fire rating makes it suitable for labeled door assemblies where life safety and controlled access are both priorities, delivering dependable long-term performance in demanding commercial environments.

Functional Details

This 24V DC electrified ET trim operates in fail safe mode. With power removed, the outside lever is unlocked. Applying power locks the outside lever. When unlocked, turning the outside lever retracts the mortise latch. Operating the inside push rail permits egress regardless of the electrical state of the trim. A compatible mortise cylinder, ordered separately, provides mechanical key override.

Trim and Lever Details

The ET trim has a P lever. Electrical power controls whether the outside lever is locked or unlocked; operating an unlocked lever retracts the latch. Select the LHR or RHR handing to suit the opening.

This model includes the 8975 mortise exit device chassis, the G (ETP) 24V electrified trim with P lever, and mounting hardware. A mortise cylinder is not included and must be ordered separately.
