The Sargent LC-12-8975-J-ETP-24V is a Grade 1 electrified fire rated mortise exit device engineered for demanding commercial openings measuring 37 to 42 inches wide. Designed with a 24V fail safe function, this device unlocks the outside trim when power is interrupted, allowing controlled egress and access in access-controlled or life-safety environments. It features the ET control trim with the P lever design and ships less cylinder for integration with your preferred keying system. As a fire rated device, it comes less dogging to maintain positive latching during a fire event. Functional Details

This 24V DC electrified ET trim operates in fail safe mode. With power removed, the outside lever is unlocked. Applying power locks the outside lever. When unlocked, turning the outside lever retracts the mortise latch. Operating the inside push rail permits egress regardless of the electrical state of the trim. A compatible mortise cylinder, ordered separately, provides mechanical key override.

Trim and Lever Details

The ET trim has a P lever. Electrical power controls whether the outside lever is locked or unlocked; operating an unlocked lever retracts the latch. Select the LHR or RHR handing to suit the opening.

Included Components

The device ships with the 8975 mortise exit chassis, J design ETP electrified trim with the P lever, and required mounting hardware. The cylinder is not included and must be ordered separately.
