Supplied less cylinder and less dogging, this device accommodates your preferred mortise cylinder and is ideal for fire-rated applications where life safety and security must work together without compromise.

Functional Details

This 24V DC electrified ET trim operates in fail secure mode. With power removed, the outside lever is locked. Applying power unlocks the outside lever. When unlocked, turning the outside lever retracts the mortise latch. Operating the inside push rail permits egress regardless of the electrical state of the trim. A compatible mortise cylinder, ordered separately, provides mechanical key override.

Trim and Lever Details

The ET trim has an L lever. Electrical power controls whether the outside lever is locked or unlocked; operating an unlocked lever retracts the latch. Select the LHR or RHR handing to suit the opening.

Included Components

This device ships with the fire-rated 8976 mortise exit chassis and the 24V electrified ETL trim with L lever. A mortise cylinder is required but not included and must be ordered separately.
