Functional Details

This 24V DC electrified ET trim operates in fail secure mode. With power removed, the outside lever is locked. Applying power unlocks the outside lever. When unlocked, turning the outside lever retracts the mortise latch. Operating the inside push rail permits egress regardless of the electrical state of the trim. A compatible mortise cylinder, ordered separately, provides mechanical key override.

The device ships with the 8900 series fire rated mortise exit chassis, the ETJ electrified trim with J lever, and mounting hardware. Cylinder and dogging are not included and must be ordered separately as needed.
