Functional Details

The Night Latch, Key Retracts Latch function keeps the outside trim rigid during normal operation, and entry is gained by key operation to retract the latch. This function is commonly used where exterior access should remain locked while still allowing safe egress from the inside through the exit device.

• Night Latch - NL trim is rigid at all times. Entry by key only retracts latch bolt.
• ET control allows cylinder to be removed only when key is in locked position.

Arm Type Details

This product is exit device trim rather than a door closer arm assembly, so no closer arm configuration applies. The trim is intended to operate with compatible Sargent rim and mortise exit devices and is identified by its ET control configuration and MG lever design.
