The Sargent 704-ETMI Exit Device Trim is a keyed trim option designed to come less cylinder and provide a Night Latch, Key Retracts Latch function for compatible Sargent exit devices. Built to work with Sargent's Rim and Mortise 8300, 8500, 8800, 8900, 9800, and 9900 Series Devices, this trim supports ET controls and features the MI lever design. For mortise device applications, it is prepped for a 1-3/4" mortise cylinder for mortise devices. The 704-ETMI trim is a practical solution when secure exterior access control and dependable latch retraction are required on Sargent exit device openings.

Functional Details

The Night Latch, Key Retracts Latch function allows authorized entry from the trim side by using a key to retract the latch. Because this trim comes less cylinder, the appropriate cylinder can be supplied to match the opening requirements. This function is commonly used where outside access must remain locked while still permitting key entry.
