Functional Details

The 04 Night Latch function provides key-controlled access from the exterior while permitting free egress at all times from the inside. Depressing the push bar retracts the latch and allows exit, while the outside lever remains rigid until the key operates the cylinder.

Arm Type Details

The ETJ designation refers to Sargent's lever-style escutcheon trim with a night latch function. The lever itself is rigid and does not retract the latch; access is granted only through key operation of the mortise cylinder, maintaining secure entry control on the exterior side.
