Functional Details

The night latch (NL) function means the outside lever trim is used only to retract the latch by key; there is no fixed or free lever operation from the exterior unless the cylinder is turned. Pushing the exit device from the interior always allows unimpeded egress, satisfying life-safety code requirements.
