Designed for doors measuring 37" to 42" wide, it combines a Grade 1 mortise lock mechanism with 24V electrified ET trim configured for fail safe operation. In a fail safe setup, the outside trim unlocks when power is removed, making it a practical choice for egress routes and secured areas where free access is needed during power loss. The device ships less cylinder for flexibility in keying, features the J (ET) control with an L lever, and includes hex key dogging for convenient latch retraction.

Functional Details

This 24V DC electrified ET trim operates in fail safe mode. With power removed, the outside lever is unlocked. Applying power locks the outside lever. When unlocked, turning the outside lever retracts the mortise latch. Operating the inside push rail permits egress regardless of the electrical state of the trim. A compatible mortise cylinder, ordered separately, provides mechanical key override.

Trim and Lever Details

The ET trim has an L lever. Electrical power controls whether the outside lever is locked or unlocked; operating an unlocked lever retracts the latch. Select the LHR or RHR handing to suit the opening.

The device includes the mortise exit chassis, electrified ET trim with L lever, and hex key dogging hardware. A mortise cylinder is not included and must be ordered separately to complete keying.
