The Von Duprin 996L-06-RV breakaway trim is a classroom function outside trim designed for use with 98/99 Series rim and vertical rod exit devices. Built around the 06 lever style with an escutcheon plate and rim/vertical rod prep, this trim is made for commercial openings that need dependable access control on the pull side while maintaining free egress from the inside. The breakaway lever design helps reduce damage in abusive applications, making it a practical choice for schools, institutional buildings, and other high-traffic facilities. This version is supplied less cylinder, allowing the cylinder to be specified separately to match the opening’s keying requirements.
